BC Place’s general policy allows small bags up to 6.5 × 8.5 inches, or clear plastic bags up to 12 × 12 × 6 inches. Exceptions may apply for medical or diaper bags. Check the specific event information for current requirements.

Choose storage that fits your whole day
BC Place lists event bag check at CA$10 per piece, on a first-come basis, with the location depending on the event. IRL is a separate option for people who want to leave bags earlier in the day, combine sightseeing with an event, or arrange an overnight stay.
At IRL, standard bags are CA$10 per bag/day including taxes, with no added service fee. You also have a customer bathroom, repacking space and a local team to help with directions and food recommendations. Choose the option that fits your bag, route and collection time.
A simple plan for concerts, games and exhibitions
Drop off at 673 Abbott Street between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Ring the doorbell, complete a quick form and head out. Look up the gate on your ticket and allow enough time to reach BC Place and pass security.
For a daytime exhibition or conference held at BC Place, storage can bridge the gap between accommodation checkout and your event. If your conference is at Vancouver Convention Centre instead, check that venue’s location when planning your journey; these are different venues.

Does BC Place have its own bag check?
BC Place lists a first-come event bag-check service, with location and availability depending on the event. Check its official event information. IRL offers independent storage at 673 Abbott Street.
Can I leave a suitcase while attending a BC Place concert?
Yes. Drop off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and agree your collection plan. Collect by 11 p.m., or arrange overnight storage if your show may finish later.
Can I store bags for a Whitecaps or BC Lions game?
Yes. IRL accepts luggage and standard backpacks during its daily drop-off hours. Check your game time and allow enough time to collect before 11 p.m.
Are strollers accepted?
IRL accepts strollers at CA$15 per item/day. BC Place’s own stroller arrangements vary by event; consult the venue if you want to take one inside.
