If your Airbnb, Vrbo or hotel is not ready, bring your bags to 673 Abbott Street between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Ring the bell, fill out a short form and meet our local team. Drop-off typically takes less than two minutes.

We can help you find breakfast, choose something to see or get your bearings. Use the customer bathroom or retrieve the jacket you need while repacking before you leave. You can then return for your bags when it is time to check in.

A later flight does not need to mean hours sitting beside your luggage. Store your bags after checkout and make room for lunch, sightseeing or one last visit before your journey home.

Collection is available until 11 p.m. After 5 p.m., text 604-360-6266 ten minutes before you return. Build enough time into your plans for collection and the onward journey. We cannot extend airline or accommodation deadlines.

IRL’s owner is a short-term rental host. He created the service because his own guests needed somewhere to leave luggage, and treats visiting guests with the same care he would want for his own.

Over 100 hosts recommend IRL to their guests. Our service gives you a real person to ask about the city while your host prepares the accommodation or while you wait for a later flight. Luggage storage is arranged separately and does not change the property’s check-in or checkout time.

Useful extras are part of the welcome

Standard luggage is CA$10 per bag/day including taxes, with no added service fee. The customer bathroom, repacking space, local recommendations and help with directions are included. We can help order a taxi; you pay the taxi fare separately.

Oversized golf bags, ski/snowboard bags, strollers and similar items are CA$15 per item/day. If your plans span several days, ask about overnight and longer storage and confirm the total before drop-off.
