Where can I store luggage after arriving in Vancouver?

IRL offers a downtown bag drop for travellers who want to explore before accommodation check-in or between journeys. Standard bags cost CA$10 per bag per day, taxes included. Bring your luggage to 673 Abbott Street during our daily 8 a.m.–11 p.m. hours and collect it before closing.

Pacific Central Station is at 1150 Station Street. IRL is an independent business at a different address, near Vancouver’s stadium district. Compare the trip to our storefront with your sightseeing plans, luggage and available time. We are not a station counter, rail operator or bus-company baggage service.

Getting from Pacific Central to 673 Abbott Street

1. From Pacific Central, make your way to nearby Main Street–Science World SkyTrain station.
2. Take the Expo Line toward Waterfront to Stadium–Chinatown, the next station.
3. Follow directions to IRL at 673 Abbott Street for the final walk. Ring our doorbell when you arrive.

Check TransLink’s current SkyTrain information for service changes and accessibility before travelling. With several large bags, consider whether walking or a taxi better suits your group. Transit and taxi fares are separate from storage.

Make the gap between journeys useful

Arriving before your room is ready? Drop your bags and enjoy a meal or explore downtown without carrying suitcases. Our friendly team can offer local recommendations based on your interests and the time you have.

Leaving later by bus or train? Work backwards from your operator’s boarding deadline. Include time to return to IRL, collect your bags and travel to the correct departure point. Keep tickets, identification, medication and other travel essentials with you.

Prices, hours and arrival

Standard bags are CA$10 per bag per day. Oversized items are CA$15 per item per day. Standard-bag pricing includes taxes and there is no added service fee. For a multi-day trip, ask us about your dates and bag sizes before arranging storage.

We are open 8 a.m.–11 p.m. daily. Ring the doorbell upon arrival; our nearby team can usually meet you within a couple of minutes. Plan collection before 11 p.m. If your return may be later, discuss an overnight arrangement in advance; after-hours access is not automatic.

Station lockers or dedicated bag storage?

Check directly with your train or bus operator for any station baggage service and its eligibility rules. Choose the option that fits your route and collection time.
