What if my Airbnb host cannot hold my bags?

Ask your host first whether an early bag drop or luggage hold is available. Cleaning schedules, building access and guest changeovers can make that difficult. If the answer is no, IRL gives you a separate place to leave your bags while your accommodation is being prepared.

Your storage arrangement is directly with IRL. It does not change your Airbnb or Vrbo check-in time, grant access to your rental, or require your host to be at the property. Keep the accommodation address and entry instructions handy for when you are ready to collect your bags.

Arriving before check-in

Bring your suitcases to 673 Abbott Street any day from 8 AM. Ring the doorbell upon arrival; our nearby team can usually meet you within a couple of minutes. Complete the storage form, confirm your collection plan and head out without your bags.

Use the customer bathroom or repacking space before leaving. Keep your passport, medication, phone and anything needed for the day with you. Our team can suggest somewhere to eat or explore while you wait for your host’s check-in time.

Checking out before a late flight

Leave the rental by the time agreed with your host, then bring your luggage to IRL. Collection is available until 11 PM. Work backwards from your flight, train or bus departure and leave enough time for bag pickup, the journey and your transport operator’s check-in requirements.

For example, an 11 AM checkout and an evening flight can leave time for lunch and a city visit. Confirm the pickup time that fits your actual transport plan. We do not provide an airport transfer as part of luggage storage.

How much does guest luggage storage cost?

Standard suitcases and backpacks are CA$10 per bag/day, taxes included, with no added service fee. Oversized items such as golf bags, ski or snowboard bags and strollers are CA$15 per item/day. Walk-ins are welcome; you can also schedule your drop-off.
